An Ocean of Gratitude

We are at a special time of year when, just sometimes, we give ourselves space to stop, be, reflect and appreciate the year we have just had. I often feel that a massive part of our collective healing and awakening journey is to let go of the rush, stop and appreciate what we have experienced – all of its colours and depths.

And we have so much undiscovered in our own experience of life!  Sometimes I think we are like the ocean in that the oceans cover 71% of our beautiful planet, yet it is estimated that 95% of the underwater world remains unexplored.

What if there are fathoms and fathoms of unexplored gorgeous terrain and life beneath the surface of you that is just waiting to be explored?

We are after all from the waters – the great ancient mother and DNA of us all, however how often do we take a dip into our inner watery consciousness?  To become a creature of the deep blue consciousness as much as the air?

Often water is described as a visible representation of how energy moves, both in spirals and also constantly changing forms from rivers, to rain, to the sea, to snow and clouds, yet also always flowing and cycling.  Being a witness to your journeys through the Power of Synchronicity program and Living Magically program I have seen how flow and magic arrives, through YOU diving deep into YOU, discovering these unchartered territories and new ways that you can express yourself.   There is that early on shudder of resistance to move from the air world of mind to the feeling spirit world of water. But once you make it below the surface you find miracles!

In fact your watery being was your first home, not only in terms of your ancient ancestral DNA, but in terms of the womb from which you came, it is natural to you. Your whole body is over 75% water, and from the 1000’s of experiments by the amazing Masaru Emoto we know that we can change the structure of and purify water through our thoughts and intentions.

There is so much more I want to share with you about this ‘deep blue open ocean living’, there are so many layers and levels.  After all the scientists are only just finding life in what’s called the ‘deep sea’ (over 1800 meters in depth and where most of the water of our oceans resides) and I believe they are mirroring our own evolutionary journey of consciousness.  In fact our watery being is one reason why we work with the luna cycles for our monthly Inner Circle In sync with your soul Purpose online event.

However right now I want to focus on two things…Gratitude and Blessing as one way to tap into your flow and gorgeous depths of Being.

A whole year has a huge amount of energetic imprints and experiences! In one year we experience everything from our own personal ‘sea storm’s (of such huge proportions that perhaps sometimes you think you’re going to be overwhelmed by the waves) , through to the calmest, clearest deepest most crystal waters that take you into a deep state of love, awe and soul knowing.

Sometimes we decide not to look into the ocean of our life in fear of seeing the storm, but then we also miss the flow and crystal waters and all the gorgeous crazy life held in between them!

How can you open up and dive into your abundant flow? A beautiful powerful way is through Gratitude that then in turn opens the way for authentic blessing.

Let’s start with gratitude:

Even if you have seen this before – watch it again. It’s an attunement to gratitude, wonder and love through watching nature. Notice how you physically, emotionally, energetically and all ways that you experience gratitude.

Then, open to see your last year like that…the beauty of a year ‘time-lapsed’, that each day of that year is a miracle of experience.

You may want to lie down comfortably, with some beautiful music and allow moments of your year to travel through your consciousness, whilst bathing in the gratitude. Allow gratitude to nourish the ocean of your being.

Now we are ready for the super soul power of Blessing

For those of you who have been part of my programs, courses and events, you will know I return often to blessing. My experience is that blessing is a super power of us all, regardless of religion and spiritual beliefs. It’s our way of celebrating, loving and giving unconditionally to all people and circumstances. It is the balm and path of peace and the authentic response to experiencing the oceanic depths of gratitude for being alive.

It is also incredibly simple, it can be communicated in a few words, a nod of the head, the lighting of a candle, a smile with awe at nature, even at you and the amazing journey you have taken over this year!

“To bless means to wish, unconditionally and from the deepest chamber of your heart, unrestricted good for others and events; it means to hallow, to hold in reverence, to behold with awe that which is always a gift.
To bless is to invoke divine care upon, to speak or think gratefully for, to confer happiness upon.
When something goes completely askew in your day, when some unexpected event upsets your plans, burst into blessing…Trials are blessings in disguise, and hosts of angels follow in their path.
To bless is to acknowledge the omnipresent, universal beauty hidden from material eyes; it is to activate that law of attraction which, from the furthest reaches of the universe, will bring into your life exactly what you need to experience and enjoy.”
The Gentle Art of Blessing: Pierre Pradervand

So take a moment today to offer a blessing for your last year. Breathe with your heart, love unconditionally your whole journey. Send your blessing backward and forward through your timeline.  You can do this by being present in the infinite now through being aware of your breath. Breath and bless – that is all. Your blessing will reach to the tiny places and to the great depths of the oceans and vastness of the skies.

With these two medicines of the Soul, we can stop and be in a way through nourishes and nurtures deeply.   Wishing you a wonderful festive season.
