A Brilliant Gamble Podcast: Anger and the Heroine’s Journey

ClareHeroines Journey, Podcasts

This week former BBC journalist, best selling author and digital nomad Blaire Palmer interviewed me for her weekly show 'A Brilliant Gamble'. The show is all about having real, honest conversations on re-thinking work, life and self.

We had a great deep dive into the Heroine's Journey and explored amongst other things, how to work with anger when it shows up in your journey of transformation, and the potential gifts and benefits of choosing a 'heroine's' approach to transformation.

In Blaire’s words: “Just as all of us have the Hero within us, we also have the Heroine, and her journey is subtly different. My guest today is Clare Russell who’s an expert in The Heroine’s Journey and talks me through what’s different… with me trying to make sense of our recent experiences through this new lens. I highly recommend listening to the show and reflecting on The Heroine’s Journey you’re on, have been on or are about to go on.”

The show is all about making the Heroine’s Journey real and relevant in the midst of change and transitions that can often bring up unexpected emotions and experiences. Indeed, what if these experiences of our imperfect selves were not problems at all, but gateways into a rebirthing of ourselves as more whole, powerful and authentic? For explorations of this and other questions, tune in below.
